Transfer of knowledge is a key element in the ongoing success of every

any project, and consequently we have designed our training programs

Selection of Standard Courses Offered
 | Infocare child management - This course is
aimed at childcare center and kindergarten administrators who will be using
the Infocare childcare management system. The course will explain the
procedures used to obtain maximum benefit from using the software. The
duration of the course is 3 days. |
 | Introduction to java programming - This
course is aimed at developers with little or no previous java experience.
The course covers the java 2 platform (jdk 1.2), including swing and the
JDBC 2.0 API. Each concept taught is backed up with sample code, and
exercises demonstrating the concept. The course duration is 5 days. Previous
programming experience in any procedural or object-oriented language is
required. |
 | Advanced java - This course is aimed at
developers who are familiar with java, or who have attended the Introduction
to java programming course. The course builds on the concepts introduced in
the first course and includes a more thorough examination of database
connectivity, as well as introducing threads, applets and networking.
Emphasis is placed on practical examples and exercises to familiarise the
student with the material covered. Introduction to programming in java or
previous java experience is required. Course duration is 5 days |
 | Unix fundamentals - In this course, you
will be introduced to a range of utilities which enable the user to
understand and utilise his/her operating environment to the full. The course
will also enable you to create and maintain suitable user environments. The
course is applicable for application developers, system administrators,
technical support personnel, project leaders. Knowledge of at least one
other operating system is desirable and the course duration is 3 days. |
 | Relational database design - This course is
an ideal introduction to relational database concepts and terminology.
Through a variety of exercises, you will learn how to model a business
enterprise using the entity relationship approach to relational database
design. You will learn data normalisation techniques, and how to propose,
evaluate and choose between design alternatives. The course is applicable
application developers, database and system administrators, systems
analysts, project leaders, technical support personnel. The course duration
is 3 days. |
